Are you our next Member Nominated Director (MND)?

We are currently seeking nominations for two Member Nominated Directors to be elected to join the Trustee Board for the Active membership.

The BAA Pension Scheme has approximately £4 billion in assets and provides benefits for around 16,000 employees, former employees, and their dependants. As a trust-based arrangement, the Scheme is managed by a Trustee — the BAA Pension Trust Company Limited.

The Trustee Board is made up of eight Directors. There is also an Independent Trustee, currently Law Debenture (BAA) Pension Trust Corporation.

• Four Directors are nominated by the members of the Scheme - Member Nominated Directors (MNDs).
• Four Directors are appointed by the Company, Heathrow Airport Holdings Limited.
The Independent Trustee has the power to veto any decision made by the Trustee that might affect the accrued benefits of beneficiaries.

The role of MND is a challenging yet highly rewarding one, which will provide you with opportunities to have an active say in the running of the pension scheme as well as learn new skills.
