Member Nominated Director Election 2017 – The results
The Trustee recently undertook a process to elect an Active Member Nominated Director (MND) to the Trustee Board in accordance with the Scheme rules. The nomination process was carried out through the online MND Portal and the election itself under the strict guidance and control of the Electoral Reform Services (ERS). This process came to an end at 5pm on Friday 29 December 2017 when the member ballot contested by Terry Mackay and Mohammad Suhayb Riaz closed.
The votes received have now all been checked and verified by the ERS and the Trustee is pleased to announce that Terry Mackay received the highest number of votes and has been duly elected to serve as an MND with effect from Q1 2018 Trustee Meeting - 25 April 2018.
The Trustee would like to thank the membership for supporting the ballot process and voting for their preferred candidate. The Trustee would also like to pay special thanks to both Terry and Mohammad for standing for election.
