Member Nominated Director Election - results
The Trustee recently undertook a process to elect two Active Member Nominated Directors (MNDs) to the Trustee Board in accordance with the Scheme rules. This was as result of the terms of office ending on 31 March 2018 in respect of Steve Chambers and Paul Williams.
The nomination process was carried out through the online MND Portal and the election itself under the strict guidance and control of the Electoral Reform Services (ERS). This process came to an end at 5pm on Friday 18 May 2018 when the member ballot contested by Steve Chambers, Mohammad Suhayb Riaz and Parmjit Singh closed. The votes received have now all been checked and verified by the ERS and the Trustee is pleased to announce that Steve and Mohammad received the highest number of votes and have been duly elected to serve as an MNDs. As Steve has been re-elected his term will continue with immediate effect. Mohammad will formally join the Trustee Board at their next meeting which is on 1 August 2018.
